Obituary for Dana E. Day

Dana E. Day, 55, of Gibsonburg, OH died Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at his home. Dana was born on May 6, 1963 in Montpelier, OH to Don and Ann (Parent) Day. Dana served his country in the United States Army and was a decorated soldier upon his honorable discharge. He worked with various employers in the area and most recently worked with Hearn Plating in Toledo the last 10 years as an electro-plater. Dana enjoyed hunting, fishing, bicycling and gardening. It was in service to his nation that he gave so much and all the while he remained a proud vet.

Dana is survived by his mother: Ann Serik of CO, fiancée: Julie Miller of Gibsonburg, sister: Jacqueline (Wally) Bell of Perrysburg, brother: James (Bernadette) Lyon of SC, daughters: Samantha (Colton) Barnes of SC, Channing Day of KY and Jenna Holstine of Toledo. He was preceded in death by his father.

Family and friends will be received 3 p.m., Saturday, April 27, 2019 with a Memorial Service beginning 4 p.m. at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 201 West Main Street, Woodville, OH.
